Singaporeans are well known for queuing and somehow they never fail to find new cause to queue for however ridiculous it may seems.
Q 1 @ Exchange a new transit card
EZlink card system has been in operation in Singapore, UK and Hongkong for almost a decade. Last year it finally came to Australia. This year Singapore initiated the upgrading of the transit card into a new multi purpose card. With this card you can pay for groceries, fines, purchases and much more. So when the exchange exercise started, people just appeared in train and bus stations.

Q 2 @ Chinatown Pork BBQ Jerky
During festive season certain food item are really popular. Bak Gua (Pork BBQ Jerky) is only of those items and every year hundreds of people queue for it. It isn't cheap, $48 per kg this year.

Q 3 @ Chinatown Hawker centre
Went to this place with my parents and was told by my parents
this is the only place that sells 70Cents Peanut porridge.

Q 4 @ Jurong Point Shopping mall
This is a huge mall of 30,000 sqm.
So when you spent $60 or more in one receipt,
you get your chance to spin the wheel. This queue is easily a 1-2 hours wait for your turn.

Guess what? the highest prize is an $80 bucks voucher.
To spend 2 good hours in a queue for this, is really of little worth.
Would you spend that time for an umbrella or a plastic bag.
So many singaporeans do not have personal hobby but the nation's favourite pastime is certainly the great Singapore Queue!
