a lousy encounter?

I went home last December for holiday and went out for a night snack of Soya drink at GEylang. Remember to dress appropriately when you go to this shop! We got a pretty lousy treatment. Now, this wasn't the first time. I went to this particular shop a while ago with some army frenz and we had the same lousy treatment. No wonder Singapore's service standard had dropped so much over the years. Both times I and frens were dressed in kakis shorts, slippers and t-shirts. The last time when I was there I made an observation that they treat customers who dresses up in nice pants and shirts better OR sometimes the tourists. Locals...they just won't bother with you. That day we sat down and waved at the waiter but this was his response:-

Us: Wave, Wave...
Waiter: "wat you want?"
(Before we even make a sound)
Waiter: "Take away! Go Cashier"
US : "erm...we wanna order..."
Waiter: "Go to the cashier, told u already."
Us: "Hello, we want to ORDER!"
Then the instead of looking apologetic, the waiter stared at us as if we were in the wrong.
Waiter: " ai ya (impatient sigh), what you want?"

I was so peeved by his actions and response! They have lost this customer forever! I won't ever step into this shop again having encountered bad service twice.
