my fittest moment

Man ! i'm no longer in my fittest period in life. ha-ha...wonder hows everyone from the platoon is doing now? I looked so good in my prime (bottom left in the photo). Compare that to the recent photos at the Singaporean function (see earlier blog) and you will see a fatter version of me. Hmm... I guess my goal after studying is to return to that old me. Hope that will be realized in the coming future. ;)

Function with VIPs

OK... Melbourne had a Singapore Day recently and sadly there isn't enough people living in Brissy to get a one of our own. Fortunately we had a consolation function yesterday; a mini-Singaporeans gathering at the Stamford Plaza Brisbane hotel. The past 2 years were really busy and I hardly had anytime to do anything. So in this final year, I've decided to attend the event. It feels good to be able to hear our familiar Singaporean english again. I didn't have my camera with me yesterday. But I've managed to get 2 shots with 2 of the VIP(s)from the entourage that turned up at the event.

VIP 1 - Minister Teo
(Singapore's Defence minister)
VIP 2 - Mr Albert Chua
(Singapore High Commissioner in Australia)

man! I've put on quite a bit of weight in these past years. Too much aussie BBQ. Time to burn that away when I finish my last wave of assignments.
